Available hours are detailed below and subject to changes. Hire time includes set-up and pack-down time.

Perry Park Synthetic Sportsfield

January to December 2025

Monday to Wednesday: 8am – 6pm*
Thursday: 8am – 11pm
Friday: 8am – 1:30pm and 3:30pm – 11pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am – 8:30pm

*Monday to Wednesday: 6pm – 11pm is reserved for City of Sydney programming. If these programs don’t proceed as planned we may consider making these hours available for seasonal hire. Interested applicants are encouraged to nominate these times.

Getiela Synthetic Sportsfield

School terms:

Monday to Friday: 6pm – 10pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am – 8pm^

School holidays:

Monday to Friday: 8am – 10pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am – 8pm^

^Lighting is not provided on weekends. Seasonal changes may affect sportsfield usability.

Permitted use at Getiela is as follows:

Monday to Friday – for training and social recreation activities only. Organised events and competitions not allowed

Saturday and Sunday – for training, social recreation activities, organised events and competitions.

Public holidays – Organised events are not allowed.

Seasonal hire of the sportsfield must be over the duration of either summer or winter sports season (minimum 10 consecutive weeks or fortnights).

School holiday hire for holiday camps must be during the school holiday periods.

As an authorised person of the organisation listed in this expression of interest, I acknowledge:
- the City of Sydney reserves the right in its absolute discretion at any time to not proceed with the process outlined in this expression of interest or any subsequent expression of interest
- the information provided in this expression of interest is true and correct
- where the applicant is a company or incorporated association, I am authorised to complete the expression of interest application form on the applicant’s behalf
- this expression of interest does not guarantee sportsfield use at Perry Park or Getiela synthetic sportsfields
- by applying to use the sportsfields and at particular times, I am committed to a Perry Park and/or Getiela hire agreement (subject to changes) for use of the sportsfield and time/s applied and for the programs and activities outlined in this expression of interest. The City of Sydney reserves the right to adjust bookings at its discretion to maximise use of the sportsfields
- staff are appropriately qualified for the activities being provided
- current working with children checks are required for all coaches, staff and volunteers who will be working with children
