Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm
Monday to Friday: After 5pm on request
Saturday and Sunday:  On request
Public holidays: closed

Fees and charges 2023/24

• Performance space: $61 Standard rate per hour / $32 Community rate per hour

• Basement: $61 Standard rate per hour / $32 Community rate per hour

• Meeting room: $36 Standard rate per hour / $32 Community rate per hour

• Activity room: $36 Standard rate per hour / $32 Community rate per hour

 

Out of hours

Bookings that fall outside of normal operating hours will incur a staffing fee. This will vary as to the rate of pay for the booking period required. The costs listed below show the range of fees which will be confirmed with your booking.

• Weekdays before 9am - $38.70 per hour

• Weekdays after 9pm – $44.50 per hour

• Saturday - $58 per hour

• Sunday - $77.40 per hour

Redfern Community Centre reserves the right to request proof of eligibility for community rate applications. Failure to present requested proof will result in the application of standard fee rates.

Hire fees are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled within 5 business days prior to booking date. The hirer must advise the centre in writing of any changes or cancellations, please email us at redferncc@cityofsydney.nsw.org.au.

For all bookings, hirers are required to obtain $10 million public liability insurance coverage. Proof of such coverage will be required before your booking can be confirmed.

Individuals and small community groups that do not have public liability insurance may be eligible to apply for cover under the City of Sydney's community engagement liability policy at the following rates:

One off hirers will be charged the 10% fee per booking. Recurring hirers will be charged annually.

Hirers must apply for each booking or series of bookings made. The maximum period of cover is 12 months per application.

Purpose of collection: This information is being collected for the purpose of venue bookings at Redfern Community Centre.

Intended recipients: Council of Sydney employees and approved contractors of the City of Sydney.

Supply: The supply of this information is voluntary. If you are unwilling to provide this information, the City of Sydney may be unable to provide access to City of Sydney services.
