    You must have a current food safety/handling certificate or equivalent qualification and a bump out of 1 hour is required at minimum.

  • Community groups can apply to have 100% of the venue hire and insurance fees waived for community spaces. Check if you are eligible to apply.

    Hirers must allow for set-up/bump-in, pack up/bump-out and cleaning in the hire period requested. Use beyond the agreed period of hire will incur an additional charge at the standard rate in whole hourly lots.
  • Please see below for the hours/days in which a booking can take place:

    • Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 7:30am–5:30pm
    • Tuesday and Thursday: 9:30am–5:30pm
    • Saturday: 10:30am–3:30pm
    • Sunday/Public holidays: closed.

    Your booking request can’t be confirmed if the times you request are outside of these hours on your selected day.

  • We can provide you with alternative sustainable options for items including cups, cutlery and plates.

    In an effort to reduce waste across all City of Sydney venues, the following items should no longer be used and alternative items sourced: bottled water, plastic straws, plastic serveware (including items made from expanded polystyrene), plastic utensils and single-use cups.

  • Public liability insurance

  • All parties who hire City of Sydney facilities must have $10 million public liability insurance coverage. Proof of such coverage will be required before your booking can be confirmed.

    One off hirers will be charged the 10% fee per booking. Recurring hirers will be charged annually.

    Hirers must apply for each booking or series of bookings made. The maximum period of cover is 12 months per application

    Our employees can advise the process involved to apply for coverage under our policy.
